I’m a sucker for cutesy. Show me a shoe with buttons and bows on and 10 times out of 10 I’ll buy them. Most of my staple black flats are home to a little bow. Actually, bows and buttons aren’t the only stipulation for that – show me any shoe and I’ll most likely buy them. Anyway – bows are brilliant and it doesn’t matter what colour/size/pattern. Here are my top picks for bows…aww!
Coby Courts – Faith at Debenhams – £45
Oh I miss Faith. They were great for evening shoes and just fantastic for sales (hello buy one get one half price! Pairs that is). These courts are ideal for work – the bow is just the right size and would fit a sultry pencil skirt perfectly.
Prance Platform – ASOS – £45
Too cute for words. A wedding shoe essential? A platform sole and stiletto heel – these courts have everything.
Hartwell – Miss KG – was £75 now £35
Not just one bow, but FIVE. Orange too (it says salmon but I stick by my orange judgement). How can you argue with FIVE bows?
I’m From Bury – Irregular Choice – £89.99
I’m a huge fan of IC, but I’m not from Bury. This bow is covered in polka dots and even has a little heart in the middle of it. They look like wings. What’s not to love?
Take A Bow – Office – £65
Adorable vintage. Mary Janes? Check. Tapestry? Check. Bow? Check. ALL HERE!
Keanah Peeptoe – Ted Baker at Office – £80
I can’t get enough of red when bows are concerned. They just…work. Such a classic style, these peeptoes could go with practically anything. Look at the bow! Just look at it!
Sindy – Topshop – £80
The polka dots are back again, I just can’t get enough of them. This fuchsia colour is gorgeous too. You really can’t go wrong with a bit of suede and satin.
